This included liaising closely with a small number of interested parties through a closed expression of interest, and a robust due diligence process. Managing both internal and external relationships relating to the business sale, including supporting the preparation of an asset sale agreement to see the best outcomes for all parties affected by the sale.2014 - Site closure: Managed the closure of an Australian Disability Enterprise, where we employed 50 people with a disability (supported employees). Through robust consultation with those employees, their families and other support networks, we identified what their goals were for the future. The project saw each of those employees engage with their activity of choice for the future - including further supported employment within an Australian Disability Enterprise.2013 - Quality Redesign: development and implementation of compliance documentation to see Scope's Employment division aligned with practises that meet both the Disability Service Standards, and the Department of Social Services operational guidelines.More recently, as we prepare for the rollout of the NDIS, the core focus has been on a major service redevelopment project which will see us move 55 people from centre based care into a more diverse and community based support model; as well as, build 4 purpose built homes for people with disabilities that have the capacity for technological solutions for a more independent style of living. This role saw me working with people who had complex, and often multiple, support needs to find the appropriate social and/or emotional supports in order for them to lead more fulfilling lives. The caseload consisted primarily of people with behaviours of concern and addiction, so there was a focus on creating linkages with other services in order to implement a dual servicing methodology. This resulted in more positive outcomes for the individuals being supported.
