I graduated Vassar College this spring with honors in both my Studio Art and Creative Writing majors. My personal projects have included illustrating fairy tales and designing characters for my own fiction, and my Studio Art thesis focused on discovering and confronting my own “monster.” My artistic interests focus on character and story, and I have varying experiences with Krita, Photoshop, and, recently, Blender. I have just rejoined Black Hills Institute (a paleontological research company and museum) for the summer, where I will eventually be helping develop a hatchling model of a T. rex.I am currently searching for a foot-in-the-door job at a video game or film studio, where I can develop my skills and learn new techniques on the job. I am enthusiastic and a quick learner, and hope to use my creative skills to join a team of concept artists or writers to create compelling narratives and engaging, unusual characters.
