I currently work for a corporate dental company at the office level handling insurance claims, billing questions, patient relations and team training. This was my first official role in the dental industry and since starting in March of 2020 I have become one of the most senior patient relations coordinators in our region. I currently travel to all DentalOne offices in the San Antonio area and train new front office employees as well as new office managers on system operations, patient relations, claims and billing questions. During the fall and winter of 2021 my home office did not have a manager and I was asked to step into the role until it could be officially filled so I do have some experience with team management as well. I love getting to work with other team members and I strive to insure that all our offices in San Antonio are well equipped to give our patients the best possible care and overall experience.

As an intern at LEADABROAD I would filter through the images we received from the students and team members that were on the study trips abroad. I then chose the best content and curated posts and stories on Instagram using the photos. I also communicated with students and team members during the trips to set up “story take overs” where the chosen individual would send in videos and photos showcasing their trip so that I could share it on the main account. I was also in charge of scheduling the posts and keeping track of the analytics for the Instagram account. While I was managing the Instagram account gained over 1,000 followers in about a months time.

In this role I was able to showcase the brand to other students on campus through in person events, give aways and presentations. I also created social media content on my personal page to increase awareness of special deals and offers to my followers. During this time I was able to register over 300 students for the rewards program with the company and held over 10 successful events on campus and for student organizations.
