Family Violence Practitioner living and working on Wurundjeri land. My career began through the completion of a Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology, and subsequent Honours in the Applied Science of Psychology. I have used my education to enter into the Social Work space, beginning as a Behavioural Therapist. Through my work at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (Child Protection), I developed extensive experience working with vulnerable families to promote outcomes that minimised risk and increased the safety and stability of children and young people. It was during my time working as a case manager for children that I further developed my passion for the prevention of family violence, with a focus on perpetrator accountability and behavioural change. Through my current role as a Family Violence Respondent Practitioner, I use my experience and intersectional feminist theories to promote the safety of women and children.
