I have worked in the SRP department for over 3 years at Northwood school, working alongside children with server learning difficulties ranging from dyslexia to autism. My role involved teaching, working alongside with subject teachers, HOD, NQTs and management whilst running the departments one day a week. I had weekly meetings with care workers, management, metropolitan police and parents. Running annual reviews, trans-deptartment meetings, child safety seminars. Transition days, fun raising events and team building schemes. Gaining great experience and focus in personal relation and communications I worked with children with server behavioural problems, this was a fast paced working environment which honed my skills of multi-tasking and working under adverse circumstances. I am now also a member of the SEN department - Special Educational NeedsFirst aid trained, CRB checked.
