I provide safety and care for up to 20 toddlers on Sunday mornings, as well as determine age-appropriate activities for children’s curriculum.

I had the opportunity to work alongside other interns at Somos Indivisble, a nonprofit organization offering legal services and basic resources to immigrants with the lens of trauma-informed care.

I had the incredible opportunity to intern at FedEx over the summer in the Human Resources department. I was a member of the Purple Flex Communications Team, which is FedEx's return-to-office plan, and helped oversee and facilitate their enterprise-wide return to office. My main focus was providing project management support by facilitating the flow of information between necessary parties, record keeping, and data analysis. As I gained experience, I was able to provide insight and recommendations during the planning process as well.

I managed the reception area for two mental health practitioners, and communicated with insurance companies, other health care professionals, and patients on behalf of the practitioners. I utilized the Electronic Health Records system to chart patient information, took vital signs of patients, and organized schedules and records for both practitioners.

Throughout high school, I worked at this female-owned small business, and during my time there I increased revenue through social media campaigns and interacting with customers in store. I also completed opening and closing duties and managed the register.
