I spent an enjoyable 8 weeks as a summer student working on a research project experimenting with the transfer of graphene from its growth substrate onto silicon wafers. I worked at the festival as a steward for a weekend every year for 4 years. The food festival is a major event in South Wales with around 170 stalls attracting over 30,000 people every year. I really enjoyed working with other people as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and keep the festival running smoothly.
