• Handle Credit Management for Pearson French-Speaking customers in Canada• Evaluate and assess customer’s account to determine if customers are worthy of being extended credit.• Evaluate customer’s account based on payment histories, and past due balance to decide if merchandise should be released or placed on hold.• Manage a customer base of 1500 – 4000 direct - Control collections on past due invoices and charge-backs. • Process account adjustments and write-offs with management approval. Research and reconcile account funds and credit memos. Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate AR balance. Responsible for daily/ weekly / monthly department reporting.• Responsible for an annual receivable of approximately $42 Million• High degree of contact with the Sales Organization to determine the customer’s ongoing credit status. • Responsible for end-to-end portfolio management for assigned customers’ accounts -Accountable for performing all activities for assigned customers in accordance with the company’s credit policy and practices.• Performs customer analysis and coordinates the necessary resolution with cross-functional peers.

- Responsible for managing the company's chargebacks and claims for their big box retailers(Saks 5th Ave. Neiman Marcus, amazon) in a shared services environment.- Completed chargebacks claims research using AS400 and also interacting through internal sales, CSR, Warehouse and customers, manage a minimum of 20 chargeback claims at a time.- Responsible for sending customer's statement in a weekly, by-weekly and monthly basis in Excel.- Consolidated multiple brand statements into one for each affiliated retailer.

• Administer and enforce deduction management policies.• Make decisions that will directly impact the organization's cash flow & profitability.• Process journal entries and assist with trade spend accruals. • Proactively identify trends and assist in implementing processes to continuously improve accuracy and efficiency of deductions and to prevent invalid deductions. • Ensure deductions are appropriately coded to the correct customers, brands, SKUs, etc• Work with customers to ensure backup is received timely and follow-up with customers when additional information is needed• Detailed review of customer deductions for accuracy to ensure each deduction is valid and supported• Provide guidance and assistance to field personnel on billing related inquiries and procedures• Maintaining and restructuring billing accounts as needed to meet customer expectations, including but not limited to, combining and uncombining invoices, changing billing cycles / frequency, rate reductions / standardization, address updates, etc.• Evaluate requests received for specialized billing and determine the most efficient means of execution and the related resources necessary to accommodate the request• Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service under all circumstances
