I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working toward a business degree in Supply Chain Management with a concentration in the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program (HIBEP). I also have a double minor in Statistics as well as Hospitality & Tourism Management. I am currently involved with the Supply Chain Scholars of Distinction Program, the Director of Communications for the Tennessee Association of Supply Chain (TASC), the Service Committee for HIBEP, Women of Haslam, Emerald Youth Foundation, UTK Club Tennis Team, and YoungLife in Blount County.My top two strengths are discipline and achiever, which means I thrive in a structured environment with actionable goals. In my Engineering-Based Problem Solving class last year, I took the role of creating meeting plans and deadlines for my team. This helped us further break down our assignments into action items that were on a more manageable timeline. Being able to segment our project allowed us to work in a clear direction because we were all on the same page.This past summer, I am worked as an inventory intern as I grow in my understanding of the supply chain world. After graduation, I would love to pursue a career in either planning, logistics, or process improvement to help streamline the overall efficiency of a company.
