I oversee all marketing activity for The Pilgrm hotel in London. As a vibrant and expanding start-up, my role as the Online Marketing Executive and Community Manager was very diverse and no day was ever quite the same.My responsibilities included managing and increasing their online social community via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+ by creating interactive and engaging marketing campaigns alongside running paid ad campaigns on both Twitter and Facebook. I worked closely with the Editor and Marketing Manager in assisting with all marketing campaigns and producing content for our combined newsletter and social media audience of over 130,000 people. I was also in charge of overseeing and developing their onsite customer interaction through channels such as the brand's in-house social network, processing and appropriately dealing with reviews, and handling any feedback and questions submitted via their 10,000+ products and online. A large part of my role representing the brand with our customers and suppliers therefore involved creating a consistent tone of voice. I was also hugely involved with the PR team, overseeing product placement requirements and photo shoots whilst sharing our general ongoing activity in the media with our online community.

My role entailed supporting all aspects of the day to day running of the agency. I acted as the main point of liaison between the clients and our internal resources at the agency, project managing our work flow from the initial brief to the finished product. During this process it was also my responsibility to find and develop opportunities to up-sell to existing clients, whilst seeking out potential new business elsewhere. I was also crucial in assisting with research on projects for existing clients and as a degree-educated photographer and photo editor, took charge of PR shoots, preparing images for upload onto client websites, and assisting in ad-hoc design projects. Alongside assisting in SEO, I proof read and wrote copy for various digital channels and print, including websites, email newsletters, press releases, packaging and brochures.
