Hi, I am Ella Soderholm--a Registered Nurse (RN), Master Nutrition Therapist (MNT), gut health expert, and founder of Undercurrent Wellness, LLC. My passion is helping you find the root cause of digestive unwellness and symptoms associated--like gas, bloat, constipation and diarrhea. If you struggle with these symptoms, I see you! I, too, have had these debilitating symptoms. I have a personal history of inflammatory bowel disease and have eliminated the symptoms associated through diet and lifestyle intervention. I have worked hard over the past 10 years honing in on the tools needed to eliminate gas, bloat, diarrhea and constipation so that I can share with others struggling as I have. I am here to provide you with those tools so you can take control of your digestive wellness. I will guide you through personalized diet and lifestyle interventions along with supplementation and specialized lab work. I know from experience that eliminating these symptoms is life changing, often opening doors for you to be able to live the life you want without having to worry about where the bathroom is or anxiety over food choices. This personal experience is what drove my decision to further my education in holistic nutrition. I completed my Master Nutrition Therapist (MNT) certification through the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO in 2015. I am also a Registered Nurse, and the combination of the two help me to understand both the conventional and holistic models of care and take the best that both have to offer when caring for patients. I have been able to do just that clinically as I have spent the past 6 years working in Functional Medicine, training under a IFM certified Internal Medicine MD. I am also First Line Therapy Certified and believe that 90% of disease management comes from diet and lifestyle changes.
