Nottingham based Producer, and Young Talent Coordinator with a proven history of working in Education that specialises in the Creative and Film sectors, and supporting talent development.By accumulating eleven years of experience at Broadway Cinema in Nottingham, I’ve developed a deep bond for supporting the creative and professional development of young people from the Midlands in community and outreach, and film education-based training initiatives.I'm responsible for creating and leading, practical and theoretical film training for aspiring and emerging talent aged 16-25, providing various avenues of support and inspiration to young people, both during and after their training for the region. Which includes filmmaking, mentoring, talks and panels, exhibition, curation, business of film, networking, travel access, careers and progression and more - as part of the wider BFI Film Academy programme, and Broadway's Short Course.As a course provider for the BFI Film Academy UK Network Programme since 2013 at Broadway, I have supported 212 talented young people, aged 16-19 from every background take their first step into a career in the film industry, and have overseen the makings of 33 short film productions as part of the prestigious programme.Successful alumni stories include paid traineeships on major feature film and TV productions in partnership with Future Skills, including: Solo: A Star Wars Story, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Bond: No Time To Die, Cruella & Willow.Additionally, I've provided Broadway alumni as paid crew members to local and other national TV productions including: Without Sin, The Gallows Pole, and 24hrs in A&E.I was invited to be a Line Producer of a BFI NETWORK funded short film, The Walk with Griffin Pictures Ltd (July 2022) starring, BAFTA & BIFA award-winner, Adeel Akhtar, which has influenced me to make further short films and other content with Anna, and local talent.Participant of Film Hub Midlands Creative Producer Lab Cohort 2021 participant between August to November 2021 delivered by, Barrington Paul-Robinson (BAFTA Elevate 2022-2024 - Producers cohort) and Holly Carrington (RTS Nominee and BFI NETWORK Insight Producer Programme).Fully trained in Microsoft Office, with experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. General overview and experience of camera, sound and lighting filmmaking equipment.Enhanced DBS Level certification obtained in 2021, and supports Broadway with the curation and renewal of their safeguarding and risk assessment policies.
