As a student, I've always been curious about the world around me and how I can make it better. Throughout High School I was passionate about being active in my community. As the Collingwood Sustainability Executive I was able to not only mentor younger students and guide my peers, but also shape our school's approach to sustainability as a whole. I was also involved with the Youth Philanthropy Council of West Vancouver for many years, starting my work with them in Grade 7. I then became the Co-Chair of the Environmental Campaign in 2021 which launched my experience in environmentalism. A year later my work earned me the position of Co-Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee, a position I held for the following 2 years. This helped me become the marketing intern for the Fregenet Foundation, a non-profit which provides education for children in Ethiopia. At Sauder, I hope to hone my skills in business and support causes which I am genuinely passionate about!
