Chosen as one of fourteen students out of 973 applicants through a competitive application process. Conducted research with a third-year PhD student on stem cells and breast cancer by performing various lab procedures including gel formation, PDMS device creation and bonding, culturing/passing/seeding cells, as well as analyzing data using ImageJ. Gave a final poster and PowerPoint presentation on my research in both the CARES Symposium and to the INBT Department.

Performed full fit process for customers to get a running shoe that works specifically for them. Assisted customers in finding the right running and exercise clothes and gadgets for them.

Observed and assisted with physical therapy patients ranging from minor injuries to patients with prosthetic legs. Helped patients perform rehab exercises as well as learned about diagnoses and treatment plans.

Served as a head counselor to lead and help campers through daily activities including field games, arts and crafts, and more. Entertained and played with campers during both morning and afternoon carpool as well as help ensure a safe environment by cleaning and organizing the rooms each day.

Greeted campers each morning during carpool and played games with them before camp such as basketball, tag, and jump rope. Led campers to their rooms each day and assisted them in finding their group. Enhanced the campers' education by both teaching and supporting them during Math and English games. Ensured the campers safety during recess by monitoring them and assisting them on the swings and monkey bars.
