As a Dispatch 2IC at Allied Concrete, I manage the daily operations of the concrete plant, ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of the batching, testing, and dispatching processes. I also handle customer inquiries, orders, and complaints, and coordinate with drivers, loaders, and contractors to deliver the best service possible. I have a Class 4 Full Licence with Forklift and Wheels Endorsement, and an OSH forklift certificate, which enable me to operate various machinery and equipment in the plant and on the road.In addition to my current role, I am also pursuing a National Certificate in Concrete Production Level 4 at BCITO, with strands in Batching, Dispatching, and Testing. This qualification will further enhance my skills and knowledge in the concrete industry, and prepare me for future leadership opportunities. I am passionate about learning new things, and I enjoy applying what I learn to my work. I have also completed a New Zealand Certificate in Retail Level 2 at ServiceIQ, which helped me develop my customer service and sales support skills in my previous roles at Spark New Zealand and Noel Leeming.
