Moody Magazine strives to break down the taboo, working to make transparency surrounding sex and self-expression the norm. As a part of the Graphic Design and Merch Team, I work with the members of the team sharing ideas and concepts for the magazine and merch. I help contribute to visual content and designs that complement written pieces and photography and enhance the magazine’s overall aesthetic and message. I also work closely with writers and editors to ensure that the visual elements align with and elevate the written content, creating a harmonious and impactful overall presentation. I participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for upcoming issues, contributing visual concepts that reinforce the magazine’s themes.

As a Student Design and Sales Manager, I have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of sales, customer relations, and to learn from experienced professionals in the industry. I collaborate with fellow designers, assist in the product design and development process by creating original and engaging designs, maintain relationships with clients, and oversee the sales process.

As a Restaurant and Retail Associate, I was responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, including handling payments, issuing receipts, and providing the correct change. They ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of their shift and maintain a friendly, efficient service to enhance the customer experience. Additionally, I assisted with bagging items and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.

As a Graphic Designer for Non-Profit Humanitarian Projects, I worked on environmental designs to be sold in an e-commerce store specializing in tee shirts and mugs made from sustainable materials. I created designs for eco-friendly products for the ECOWares line to be sold online for both children and adults. I helped create logo designs that are environmentally themed with positive sayings to promote taking care of the planet.
