As a Psychology and Media Arts and Culture double major, I have developed a passion for media production as a social and political tool. Currently, I am interning with the Czech ski tour company Sherpa's Ride to produce short and long-form videos. Through direct collaboration with the organization's social media coordinator, I have created content that successfully conveys the core values of Sherpa's Ride to engage its target demographic. I am confident that my skills in video editing and creative advertising will be crucial as I pursue media production within the socio-political realm. I aspire to produce works that inform and incite action in my viewership. Last Spring, I harnessed my skills in media outreach toward a youth voter campaign for the 2024 Presidential election with the political documentary organization, Brave New Films. This internship opportunity enhanced my workplace assertiveness and urgency for issues including reproductive rights and voter suppression. I have written and produced several politically charged media works, both narrative and documentary. Political urgency is the core motivator that has increasingly fueled my independent projects.This past summer following my internship with BNF, I furthered my skills in the restaurant industry, another field which I am passionate about. I worked full-time as a hostess and busser between two restaurants. Eventually, I was promoted to an expediter position at a Michelin List restaurant, The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, where I managed the distribution of a variety of dishes to 200 guests per evening.

  As a media intern, I am producing short and long-form videos using my knowledge of the organization’s core values in marriage with my skills in video editing, voiceover, and narrative structure. So far, I have:- Collaborated with the Sherpa’s Ride social media coordinator to identify the organization’s engagement goals distinguishing aspects- Utilized my creative and critical thinking skills to produce content that engages the organization’s target demographic and communicates core values- Mastered the video editing software Premiere Pro to produce polished content that has been shared via social media
