Hello there! I'm Ella Chamberlain, an assistant commercial manager working in the fast-paced and challenging world of rail. As a member of Network Rail's amazing commercial team, I have played a pivotal role in delivering essential projects that keep the transport system from going off the rails (literally).🚀 Professional Journey:I entered Network Rail as a graduate initially working in special project management where I led key initiatives to improve workers' health and safety. This involved a healthy eating scheme, regular staff health screenings, and strategies to tackle men's mental health stigma. These changes were positively received by our site teams who reported a rise in health calls and GP appointments.Following my time as a project assistant I transferred to the commercial department where I have been fortunate to actively participate in the negotiation process as well as the drafting of new project contracts giving me training in NEC contract management. Furthermore, I am knowledgeable in financial analysis and budget change control as I was involved in valuations on several major projects from Waterloo to Richmond.🎯 Professional Mission:I am on a mission to drive my performance in commercial management.
