Whilst working as a Press Assistant for one of the most well known high-end fashion brands my responsibilities and duties consisted of ensuring celebrity and VIP guests were appropriately dressed in the E.W brand for magazine & newspaper shoots and red carpet appearances, therefore liaising with these key individuals and their teams.Within my remit I prepared and sent out press releases, assisted with creating and executing an event strategy plan which covers timelines, sponsors, suppliers, legal & insurance obligations and budgets, alongside sourcing venue options for the Emilia Wickstead AW17 fashion week show. This entailed clear and concise coordination and communication with the social media team to promote/advertise the brand and events across all platforms. This Internship was a fantastic opportunity and ensured that I thought 'outside of the box' to complete time-sensitive tasks.
