Born on the Sunshine Coast, I was raised on the belief that books are a girl’s best friend. I write urban fantasy and young adult fiction primarily, with a desire to tell perceptive stories of those who often cannot tell their own, whether it be a vampire woman living in the 1870s or a Muslim mother residing in the suburbs of Victoria. I am driven to give readers an experience they’ll never forget and leave them with a message they’ll always remember. When I am not hunched over a laptop letting my fingers dance over the keys, I am cozied up in a warm spot reading one of my favourite novels, baking packet mix brownies or listening to an 80’s playlist and jamming it out. I value time with friends and family and never miss the opportunity to shed my generally quiet and reserved persona to make them laugh so hard their bellies hurt.I have experience in screenwriting, copy-editing, photography and creative writing, and am known by many never to turn down a chance to put my hand up and try something new, with experience volunteering in art galleries, cafes, charity shops and more.
