URL Media is a media startup founded in 2021, operating as a decentralized, multi-platform national network of high-performing Black and Brown grassroots journalism organizations. We help our partners expand revenues, reach new audiences, and foster inclusive work environments through advertising, recruitment and talent development, and content distribution for long-term sustainability.I joined the team as one of initial full-time hires and work with executive leadership to drive revenue growth and partnership development for a growing, decentralized network of BIPOC owned and led journalism outlets. I manage grant funding that has secured over $6M, enabling team expansion and increasing yearly operating revenue. I developed workflows to grow the partnership network by 250% and expanded audience reach to over 27 million. Additionally, I oversee the build-out of our new nonprofit entity, URL Collective, managing compliance and operational systems to support long-term sustainability and further philanthropic support.

Recruited to overhaul tennis facility operations at Penn Athletics, I developed a strategic plan that eliminated a $100K operating deficit and increased net profit by 273% in year one. I managed a 40+ member team, restructured programs, and grew membership to 3,500+, while leading the operational planning for the $21M squash facility renovation. Additionally, I created Penn's COVID-19 reopening plan, making it the first campus facility to reopen safely, and implemented systems that reduced labor costs and improved efficiency.
