Storytelling is how we connect as friends, coworkers, communities, and as a species. Without stories, we wouldn't have histories, we wouldn't have heroes, and we'd have a very limited understanding as to how the world works around us. But the difference between restating facts and telling a compelling story all boils down to one crucial factor: the author.As a lover of written communication, I dedicate my time into turning any experience, whether fact or fiction, into a story anyone can get lost in. I am driven to learn more about my community and the world beyond its horizons, and am passionate about spreading my discoveries in a concise yet detailed manner. I have spent years honing my voice, and my artistry as a writer has grown at the same rate I have as a person. I worked as a student editor for Plains Paradox, Front Range Community College's student-run magazine, which strengthened my skills as a collaborator. I also run my own blog, where I published my essays on music, mental health, and life experiences.
