I've always found myself captivated by digital advertisements. The way companies design, package, and sell their products is an interesting process to me. I enjoy shopping and noticing advertisement strategies, and I've definitely bought products in the past solely because the branding was so appealing. Maybe that makes me an easily-influenced consumer, but I'd like to say I'm just a marketing nerd.During my time at Xavier, I've had the very enriching opportunities of collaborating with both local and corporate clients, such as Kroger, Homage, P&G, and campus organizations. By working with my peers to formulate recommendations for real world marketing dilemmas, I've gained valuable experience in the marketing field. Outside of academia, my work experience has played a major role in the person I am today. I was a barista and waitress for 4 years, which exposed me to joys of fast-paced environments and customer service. I really did love my restaurant jobs, as they enhanced my soft skills and allowed me to connect with new people every day.My hope is to achieve a fulfilling career in the marketing industry in which I can utilize both my creative and communicative skills.
