Hours would include 4AM-12-3PM. Primarily I would spend time taking in the first delivery of the day at 4AM, taking the delivery and putting it in the freezer, from the freezer taking it on the the shop floor to replenish stock. This was a summer job to fund education for my final year at university. This role taught me time management, stock take, delivery intake, communication, stock replenishment, delivery intake and costumer service.

During the first COVID-19 lockdown I worked in my local Tesco to help get a big influx of orders out to the public. This position was contracted for 2 weeks but I was kept on until September which was when I had to move back to Cornwall for university. Hours included 3-4AM until orders were done which could be anywhere from 12-2PM, I managed picking orders for online and getting them to the delivery bay in a quick turnover time. This positioned helped me understand time management, awareness of product placement, problem solving when a product was out of stock, team work and communication with costumers during this stressful time.

Duties included taking payment on tills, handling costumer complaints, POS / Display, standards, deliveries, stock-taking, product knowledge, garment care advice, changing room control. This role helped me understand costumer's needs, pricing strategies and how products are sold is linked to sales assistants standards, values and behaviours.
