After studying Psychology at The University of Manchester, I co-founded Elevate Creative with my partner Joe.What initially started as a side-hustle from a place of desperation (as we both disliked the jobs we were in at the time), quickly became a promising career for the both of us. With Joe starting full-time in September 2022, and myself joining shortly after in June 2023. Together, we provide a range of creative services to help businesses grow and thrive online. This includes videography, photography, social media management, graphic design, website design and support with marketing strategy. Aside from my background in Psychology and qualifications in design, we are completely self-taught (and proud to admit it!) Meaning our services stay innovative and relevant, rather than sticking to a guide book we learned in university many moons ago. Since starting Elevate Creative in September 2022, we’ve had the honour of working with some incredible business owners and brands, we’ve travelled the world for work and helped social media platforms grow by over 183% in less than 6 months. Some highlights for us have included working with Gymshark, Sony, and Hays Recruitment, travelling to Paris to film the 2024 half-marathon, capturing the UTMB Snowdonia 100-mile race in Wales and most importantly, having such inspirational clients around us- many of whom have now become friends. In May 2024, we moved into our first office space- located in Lindley, Huddersfield. Here, we’re not only able to host client meetings, but our fully functioning professional podcast studio allows clients to film high-quality, engaging content on demand. We’ve also expanded our team to include animation and YouTube specialist Louis, who collaborates with us on larger, more complex projects to create content unlike anything else on the market. Although on paper this is our ‘job’, it truly is so much more than that to us. There’s no ‘Sunday Scaries’ or ‘Friday Feeling’ for us anymore- because we love every second of what we do, and wake up everyday feeling so grateful for the business and clients we’ve created.
