My entire life I have been fascinated with how things work. I would ride in a car, watch a movie, or walk into a beautiful building and wonder "How did they do it?" This curiosity has led me to learn as many skills as possible. It first began with instruments; I learned guitar, piano, ukulele, and organ. Then I moved to auto mechanics, computer programming, baking, Spanish, and Photoshop.I come from a lower income family so I had many opportunities to "DIY". In high school, I eagerly took on projects where I learned how to roof a house, rebuild a car engine, or even start my own business. At age 12 I started a business so that I could follow my passion of competitive cheerleading. These skills allow me not only to be self-sufficient but to help others. Now I am a student IT architect at BYU and a full-time student studying Information Systems. I continue to grow my knowledge in Python, Generative AI, technical writing, and whatever else comes my way. One day I hope to find my place in the IT world as I continue to chase the daily question of "how did they do it?"
