In this role my responsibilities include:1. Ensuring Universal Credit and Rate Rebate tenancy verification requests are processed accurately and returned promptly.2. Ensuring housing-related costs are paid to tenant rent accounts on time.3. Making direct contact with tenants via phone calls to ensure applications for housing costs and rate rebates have been submitted.4. Using a range of computer packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

I was responsible for processing postaland proxy vote applications electronically and ensuring GDPR guidelines were respected inthe filing of paper copies. I gained proficiency in the use of database systems such as IDOX for searching for and inputting electronic data and information.

In this role I was responsible for handing customer enquiries and ensuring all purchases were carried out efficiently. This involved cash handling, interpersonal skills and problem-solving.

I managed a market stall for Bow Diva at various artisan markets across Kilkeel, Warrenpoint and Newry. My responsibilities within this role included customer service, cash handling and ensuring that all products were organised to a high standard.

During this placement I developed my interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills through assisting with cross-community programmes in my local area such as PEACEPLUS. I also helped organise a HIV/AIDS awareness workshop and assisted with the facilitation of community events such as an INSPIRE community action presentation and a Get Set employability workshop for young people. In this role, I helped create an engaging environment in which young people could bridge their divides and develop employable skills.
