TravelCareer Break Jul 2017 - Jul 2018Seizing an opportunity for growth and challenge, I traded in a steady paycheck and comfortable life for the ambiguity of a year as a traveling adventurer. I became a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher. I hiked in the beauty of Glacier and Zion National Parks. After selling my condo and drastically paring down my possessions, for six months I traveled through Southeast Asia, biking in Myanmar, teaching yoga in Laos, completing a silent meditation retreat in Thailand, and meeting people from all over the world, all while planting the seeds for starting my own company.
