As the Digital Communications Officer, I work to increase the awareness of the City and help to create strong advocates of the community through the use of digital platforms such as online newsletters, SMS, a user friendly website and a range of social media channels. The main tasks undertaken in my role include; - Coordinating, developing and maintaining social media content plans and calendars- Managing and responding to comments and messages received through the City's social channels - Updating and maintaining the City's corporate website to ensure information is consistent and correct - Producing a fortnightly online newsletter - Copywriting for corporate publications and the City's website - Updating and maintaining the City's databases- Improving the City’s digital marketing assets; including the corporate website, online applications, social media platforms and all related digital communications- Coordinating and drafting monthly SMS campaigns Since starting in the role in September 2017, the Facebook page likes have increased from 14,000 to now almost 30,000.

Running the project on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the project team, ensuring the project produces the required products within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits. As the Social Media Assistant at Bang Digital I worked to increase the brand awareness for a range of clients through the development of organic and paid social media campaigns. Tasks completed throughout my time at the agency include; - Development, implementation and management of organic and paid social media strategies and content for a variety of clients and industries using platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google+- Creation of blog content for various clients and Bang Digital- Use of marketing campaigns for data collection- Development of email newsletters and direct mail for various clients and Bang Digital- Copywriting for websites and landing pages

I was contracted to work at Satterley Property Group for six months covering extended leave. As the Media and Communications Officer, I worked as part of a two person team to manage the public perception of the company and elevate brand awareness for the National Property Group. Working in both the traditional and digital media landscape, the tasks undertaken throughout this time included; - Development of corporate media releases, advertorials and editorials. - Copywriting for the companies publications, online newsletters and blog content- Liaising with media contacts to pitch stories and respond to inquiries- Managing photography and setting up photoshoots to promote the brand- Development of Satterley Property Group’s social media accounts including creating a corporate Facebook page- Development of the overarching digital media strategy- Creating and implementing social media strategies and content calendars for various platforms After I completed this contract I was called back to work in the Marketing team as the Project Marketing Assistant. I completed this role in February 2016.

I worked solely on contract as the Social Media Campaign Manager for the inaugural Hubbub Festival in association with Fringe World. In this role, I acted independently and innovatively to develop and maintain perception and reach of the festival across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
