As a technical writer at Utah State University's Disability Research Institute, I create specialized training materials and resources tailored to enhance accessibility and inclusivity for public health officials, caregivers, and other professionals. My role encompasses research into existing best practices, conducting usability testing to refine content effectiveness, and applying document design skills to ensure clarity and engagement. My projects address a range of needs, from accessibility training for public health personnel to developing conversation guides on consent for caregivers of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
