Ad Strategist & Account Manager, NonprofitsMeta Aug 2017 - Jan 2021Menlo Park, Ca, UsSome of my best and most game-changing work happened completely outside of my job description: 🔹 Built the business case and executed the “One Facebook” Pilot, a 1-year initiative which proved that both sentiment and ad spend would increase if you approach partners with a joint organic and paid strategy on Facebook. This approach had never been tested. It resulted in Nonprofit becoming the fastest growing sales Vertical on Facebook’s GBG Scaled team in 2020 (52% growth YoY, followed by E-Commerce at 36%). The success of this initiative led to Facebook's C-suite creating a new organization to expand ad nonprofit support. (I like to say that our scrappy startup of 3 people got acquired!)🔹 Spearheaded the business case, roadmap, and alpha/beta testing of On-Facebook Donation Ads product. Navigated 80+ stakeholders across 3 offices to launch an alpha/beta test with 35 nonprofits in Q4 2018. The product launched globally in Q4 2021.🔹 Created a product called the Unique URL for fast peer-to-peer fundraiser creation that's generated $10M+ for nonprofits since 2019🔹 Created Facebook’s first Nonprofit advertising training that reached 1M nonprofits in Q4 2019🔹 Built the curriculum for Facebook’s first Ad Grant program that launched in 2020 (Ads for Impact) 🔹 Built the curriculum for an employee engagement program that supported 39 local nonprofits across 4 cities (Ads for Local Impact)🔹 Created an audit process in mid-2020 which revealed that Nonprofit advertisers were severely over-declaring their Facebook ads as Political/Social Issues, decreasing unnecessary product usage by >30%🔹 Created a playbook on promoting Facebook fundraising tools as part of the Social Good for Business initiative, which was used by 100+ companies like Airbnb and the NFL
