Ellen’s work in development, marketing and corporate relations started in New York and Boston, and continued in Berkshire County, Massachusetts where she has lived for the past 20 years. She has worked at the New York Women’s Foundation, Gilda’s Club, the American Cancer Society’s Eastern Division and Starlight Children’s Foundation of New England and in consultant roles for the Literacy Network of South Berkshire and the Berkshire Community College Foundation. From 2019 - 2021, Ellen worked on the executive leadership team of Every Body Thrive, the business founded and directed by business and health coach Karlee Fain. Ellen recently rotated off the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation (BTCF) Board after 9 years of service. However she remains the Chair of the South Berkshire County Area Fund committee (over $3.5 million in assets), and sits on the advisory committee of the Denise Kaley Fund, which supports Berkshire County women with cancer in financial need as well as the BTCF Stewardship committee representing the alumni board members. She received her bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College. Ellen lives in West Stockbridge, Mass., with her husband and their two children.
