In the fall of 1972 a group of photographers, who had been running their stock photo business as a cooperative, decided they needed someone to manage the business. I was hired as the Business Manager. Shortly thereafter I purchased the business from this group of 9 and the business went from a cooperative to a "matriarchy". Jeroboam has been selling the rights to reproduce photographs--B/W and color--since 1972. This company represents about 150 photographers and specializes in photojournalistic, editorial images, marketing primarily to the textbook market.
