About Ellen Butcher Dip.Assoc Cipd

There are two things that fascinate me about hospitality. First: the concept of guest behaviour and how expected and unexpected it can be. Secondly: the challenge of delivering revenue-driving analytics in an ever-changing society. Both are like that new pair of shoes that never feel fully broken in.My mindset in project management is whether you’re connecting with your team or customers, you’re connecting with an eclectic range of personalities – each with their own ideas, beliefs, ways of working – which, when brought together, create the perfect outcome, tailored to meet the needs of many and support organisational growth.Prior to joining Wireless Social, I led I.T. for an eCommerce mail-order company - implementing a new server and telecommunications system, along with company-wide training. I also worked on website development, collaborating with the team to develop new features - enhancing customer experience and increasing revenue.Outside of work, I volunteer as a Parish Councillor, sharing my skills and insights with the team. Together we improve our local community through collaboration and communication. I love getting outdoors and if you ever come across me out walking I’m ‘that person’ that will always say ‘Hi’ with a smile whether I know you personally or not! I also enjoy a good Netflix binge and watching those ‘so bad, they’re good’ films! When the bank balance is healthy I also like to travel, absorbing…well mainly sun!...but also new experiences and seeing what else is out there, outside of my four walls at home.Feel free to connect if you’d like to work together!
