How do I fit 40 years of work experience and life events into a couple of paragraphs. Currently, I am working for the City of Covington as the Planning Administrator. I am a Louisiana Civil Law Notary (since 2016), and have been a Realtor (since 1994), licensed in Louisiana with the earned designations of Senior Real Estate Specialist and Real Estate Negotiations Expert. However, since graduating from Tulane University in 1986, I have been employed as a legal secretary, paralegal, instructor, and Director of Education. I have owned, operated and sold successful businesses. I have managed people, accounts payable and receivables, developed curriculum (academic and professional), handled payrolls, marketing, customer service, cremations, pet loss/grief and spiritual counseling. I was able to self contract the construction of two commercial buildings, invest in real estate “flips” and home presentation prior to sales (a/k/a staging) (I do not sleep much lol) I have volunteered at church, schools, scouts and playgrounds.
