Commercial Real Estate underwriting for Multifamily, Industrial, Office and Retail properties.

• Underwrite multifamily and commercial real estate credit requests for presentation to credit executives. Underwriting standards include Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac, and Chase Commercial Term Lending guidelines. Credit review includes property and sponsor risk rating, proforma cash flow analysis, loan to value analysis, sensitivity analysis, market analysis and sponsor credit analysis. • Coordinate closings with closing, legal, investors as well as borrower to assure appropriate documentation of underwriting requirements are satisfied. Follow up of post closing requirements and covenants.• Review each transaction for compliance with banking regulations including Know Your Customer, OFAC, Anti-Money Laundering, and Reputational Risk.• Serve as a liason for management and junior analysts by training junior members as well as reviewing credit requests prior to presentation to credit executives. • Participate in special projects including monitoring assigned problem loans, Fannie Mae watchlist call and action plans. Worded with IT to develop an automated credit request template which resulted in significant time saving to the underwriters as well as helped minimize compliance findings.

• Valuation of closely held assets for private wealth clients utilizing discounted cash flow analysis and other relative valuation methodologies for annual reports sent to clients. Included collecting financials of the asset, review of the underlying asset and sales of the assets.• Prepared buy/hold/sell memorandums of closely held assets, evaluating their strength and potential risk factors to present to the credit committee.• Served as single point of contact for internal trust officers for all closely held assets in assigned portfolio of assets.

• Analyzed and spread operating statements for multifamily, commercial, and healthcare properties.• Ran monthly validations on assigned contracts to correct reported financial information and input variance comments for explanation of variances in operating information. • Prepared loan payoff packages for subservicers including the yield maintenance calculation, percentage prepayment calculation, default interest, & accrued interest.• Prepared monthly matrixes for watchlist loans, collateral reporting times, collateral reporting issues, individual workload, and others as necessary.• Researched market information for potential investment contracts.
