Conduct copyediting and translating work with various NGO and non profits located in Latin America. Most recent project has been the copyediting of an upcoming book for the Fundación para la Conservación y Desarrollo Sostenible (FCDS) which works out of Bogotá and the Amazon region of Colombia.

Continued work with CINEP for my M.A. Capstone Project. This Capstone Project continued in the development of the local government seminar on the Caribbean Coast of Colombia. Worked with the Land and Territory Research Team at CINEP to lead development of initial planning of a pilot seminar for local government officials surrounding the effects of discriminatory social norms and and their impact on women's access to land in rural areas of the Caribbean coast as a part of a project with Landesa and the Global Stand for Her Land.

Collaborated with English teaching faculty in a co teacher role at SENA CEGAFE, Tunja. Advised 7 first year ETAs in a mentor role throughout the grant to provide support and guidance on professional, social, cultural, and personal adjustment.

Aided in classroom facilitation in person during hybrid Covid19 procedures, supporting students and faculty throughout the fall semester while many teachers were working from home and students were in person.

Tunja, Boyacá, Colombia

Supported the English teaching faculty at Universidad Santo Tomás Tunja. Typical week consisted of ~20 hours in the classroom, 10 hours of class planning, conversation clubs for students and community members, and planned on campus events such as food tastings or karaoke. Launched IAF’s Eastern Caribbean Initiative to reconnect with the region by contacting 50+ Civil Society Organizations and forming relationships. Started E Caribbean strategy planning which involved a tent trip to the region and a call for proposals. IAF has since invested $600,000+ in this region using orgs found during initial research.
