Born and raised in Markham, Ontario, she is fluent in Chinese and enjoys working with patients with special needs.Dr. Chin believes in a harmonious treatment plan involving soft tissue therapy and manual manipulation, adjusting lifestyle ergonomics, nutrition counselling, rehabilitation, and acupuncture therapy where appropriate. Dr. Chin also enjoys helping children develop their full physical potential through spinal mobilization and rehab. She has been successful in treating babies with colic. Her soft tissue therapy and stretching have helped pregnant patients regain mobility and have eased labour and delivery strains. Sport and work-related problems are solved by determining the root cause and paving the path to recovery and advancement.Outside her professional life, Dr. Chin and her husband have raised children. She and her husband support a Ghana Health Team Mission that sends a healthcare team to provide care to remote villages in Ghana, Africa. She also enjoys various activities, including volunteering, running, swimming, playing the piano and flute, photography, and spending time with friends and family.
