This role is focused on writing pollution legal liability accounts with a concentration on larger, more complicated risks that require unique coverage structures and more in depth negotiation.

Underwrite and maintain contractors pollution and pollution legal liability renewal policies in support of the environmental group at Navigators. Additional responsibilities include deal collaboration on larger pollution accounts, risk control review and analysis, and special projects.

Provided environmental insurance coverage for a variety of risks including the following products: pollution legal liability, contractors pollution liability, and excess liability. Established and maintained environmental broker relationships. Joined the organization when the environmental division was young and gained valuable skills required to get a start-up running (from system functionality to building endorsements to internal networking and marketing efforts).

Underwrote and negotiated environmental insurance policies (pollution legal liability and excess) for a large variety of environmental accounts including: manufacturing facilities, chemical facilities, hazardous waste incinerators, landfills, wastewater treatment plants, agricultural sites, petroleum distributors, and real estate transactions. Initiated and managed broker relationship throughout the Midwest region.

Conducted investigations and evaluated and compiled the information in reports for a variety of projects located throughout Arizona. Field experience included soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling; water level measurements; groundwater monitoring well installations; UST removals; and, excavation oversight. Office experience included data compilation and evaluation; historical and regulatory research; waste profiling; permitting; report preparation; and, client contact.
