As Sustainability and Innovation Program Manager, I work on broadening the social mission of Biga Group: working towards a social ánd sustainable society. The core aim of Biga Group is to guide residents who cannot manage on their own and into suitable work.With the work we do, we make as much positive impact as possible and reduce the negative impact. Part of this includes developing new types of work in the circular economy.

As a Program Manager Sustainability, I ensure that Thuiswinkel.org helps e-commerce companies become more sustainable. I am responsible for the development, optimization and performance of the sustainability program. I represent the organization externally where necessary, for example to support advocacy activities. Guiding and inspiring the people in my team and actively cooperating is key to a high-quality implementation of the sustainability program. I am a sparring partner of the MT on issues like the Thuiswinkel strategy, branding and communication.

Contribute to the realization and visibility of a sustainable e-commerce sector. Identify opportunities and challenges in the field of sustainability in order to then arrive at a workable approach with stakeholders in the market. Define and initiate various projects aimed at making the sector more. Act as a project leader in an interdisciplinary collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Monitor and report on project progress and budget. Develop and execute a communication strategy on sustainability, together with PR officer.

A future without gas, corporate social responsability, electric driving, the politics behind carbon pricing; for OneWorld I'm reporting on the challenges on our way to a sustainable future. Also responsible for (financial) partnerships with governments and businesses.

Established and managed the datajournalism team (4 persons) of OneWorld. Generated data-driven stories by collecting, analysing and visualising data for our own platform and external clients. Maintained client contacts, wrote proposals and contracts. Succesfully subscribed to different funds. Nomination for Mercur innovation price of the year 2016 for my project ‘Data Atlas’.

Responsible for the online and social media activities of OneWorld. Projectmanagement of developing the new website.

EEN is campaigning to get a broad attention for the Millenium Development Goals. I was responsible for the offline PR (contact with radio, newspapers, magazines etc) during the yearly campaign and for the EENshop. This included buying and selling of the products, contact with producers and promotion.

Camerawork and editing of online video’s. Reproducing footage from international content partners. Interviewing artists and politicians.

Initiated the new Photo department. Hiring and managing of editors and photographers. Communication with clients and managing the budget.

Writing of newsarticles, research on domestic news topics, interviewing.

Evaluation of integration projects, writing newsletters and pressreleases. Voluntary work.
