    My GIS work focuses on utilizing lidar products to derive an updated hydrographic dataset for Pennsylvania. The existing NHD is a reasonable guide in this venture, but I am looking to automate as much of this process as possible. To this end, much of my research involves geomorphon analysis and cost connectivity/least-cost analysis. The end goal is to produce a dataset that can be easily adapted and updated. This is both challenging and fascinating in the context of Pennsylvania geology!
