As a health policy intern with the office of a Minnesota State Senator, I am responsible for conducting policy analyses on critical issues impacting public health. My work includes analyzing tenant rights policies and criminal justice reform, with a focus on their intersections with health outcomes. In these analyses, I examine how housing stability, legal protections, and criminal justice policies influence health disparities, access to resources, and long-term community well-being. My findings support legislative efforts to promote equitable health policies that address social determinants of health in Minnesota communities.
