I’m an aspiring freelance editor and proofreader with a passion for literature. I was homeschooled for most of my early education, which cultivated a deep appreciation for reading and writing from a very young age. A tremendous amount of focus was placed on literature and mathematics, although, I clearly excelled more in my English studies. I particularly devoted myself to reading my Great Aunt’s vast collection of books that she passed down to me of mostly romantic Victorian novels.Becoming a book editor has been a dream of mine ever since my mom published and wrote her own novels. I was able to work closely with her and follow the editing and creative process of writing her novels. My occupational goal is to ultimately become a copyeditor of fiction novels and/or a proofreader. I have always had a passion for reading, and often find myself reading several books a day when I have the time. After working my way through college, I recently graduated from Binghamton University with my Bachelors degree in English Literature with straight A’s. I am actively seeking work as a freelance editor and proofreader and look forward to hearing from you.
