About Ellen Hickman

My approach to design has always been to use real data and research to validate my creative choices. Through validating ideas we can create the most impactful solutions. I like to think that my brain is 50% analytical and 50% creative. 

As a visual merchandiser I loved getting to solve new problems everyday, and seeing the real-time success of the commercial strategies I implemented. However, the biggest reward was being able to listen to, understand and deliver what my customers wanted. This is one of the reasons why I have transitioned into UX/UI.

I want to combine my understanding of human centred design with business requirements to create experiences that are both delightful and achievable.
