Completed 150 practicum hours as a school counseling intern at Wiley Magnet Middle School in the Spring of 2018. Completed 600 internship hours for the 2018-2019 school year in Student Services at R.J. Reynolds High School. Counseled adolescents regarding a variety of topics and issues including anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, truancy, college and career preparation, and communication skills. Tracked data, spearheaded recruitment, and packed bags for the food pantry program. Developed and coordinated a spring semester study skills group to assist freshman students with academic success.

Mastered key administrative skills in the national headquarters of a trade association. Expanded FRA’s grassroots reach by initiating, developing, and implementing an internal database. Effectively interned for nine months, which led to a full-time job offer in 2014.

Accepted to and successfully completed competitive post-college leadership development program designed to promote integrity and excellence in the workplace alongside spiritual growth. Fulfilled internship, completed graduate seminary courses, and participated in mentorship program for high school students.

Provided emotional support and guidance for campers and counselors at a Christian sports camp. Served as program director during the summers of 2012-2014 and camp counselor during the summers of 2009-2012. As program director, planned and executed thematic program nights and developed a rotating game schedule for over 300 campers and staff. Directed college-age staff to perform skits/comedy sketches for camp entertainment nights. As camp counselor, provided mentorship to campers (primarily high schoolers). Coached campers in a variety of team sports which included one-on-one coaching to improve individual performance/skills along with casting vision for teams and strategizing for victory.
