About Ellen Howard

Strong Team builder with over twenty years of experience in developing programming, managing exhibition workflow, donor & membership retention, fundraising, organizational skills and special events. As an artist, curator and small business owner, I have extensive experience marketing, public relations and client service. Ellen is an award winning artist, curator and instructor specializing in California Landscape paintings. Ellen serves as Vice President of Programming for the California Art Club and initiated the "Excellence in Traditional Fine Art Competition" which increased annual revenues by 10%. Ellen was also recognized as "Volunteer of the Year" by the California Art Club in 2020 in her role as co-chair of the San Francisco Chapter for her work in developing innovative programs and building membership. She has been a key player in increasing membership, developing innovative exhibitions and building community within CAC. Ellen's art has been highlighted in over 100 exhibitions and two “solo exhibitions” in 2019 at the Mendocino Art Center in July 2019 and the Peninsula Museum of Art in September 2019.
