I bring 20+ years of experience in energy and international development, with a particular focus on energy access, microfinance, enterprise development, gender, and clean energy policy in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Latin America. I accomplish this through my consulting, teaching, publishing, public speaking, and volunteering activities--all of which make for a rewarding career. I have a real passion for working with colleagues and friends from around the world using a collaborative and hands-on management style to produce timely deliverables of the highest quality. My track record as a trusted advisor and team player in the energy space has led to numerous program design successes in the U.S. and internationally. I also strive to educate the next generation of energy practitioners through my teaching and mentoring of students from all walks of life. My mission is to empower young men and women to take the lead in finding and delivering solutions for creating a better world through access to clean energy.
