I have been the Event Coordinator for Kona Ice of Raleigh for the past 2 years. My general responsibilities include handling all customer inquiries via phone and email. Booking and confirming all events and finalizing all contractual details with vendors for multiple units, while providing amazing customer service. Other duties include managing and scheduling staff, approving time off, allocating resources for events and troubleshooting customer issues and event conflicts. I also worked in Education 10 years where, because of my diverse job experience, I have been able to work everywhere from office management to co - teaching in the classrooms. I have worked at a classified newspaper, designed graphics for walk off mats, held customer service management positions and worked at Milliken Design Center as a Designer/Merchandiser in Contract and Residential flooring which tie in with my BA in Graphic Design. My favorite thread that links all these positions is creativity and working with people.
