I worked across multiple PR campaigns, crafting strategies through copywriting and connecting with journalists. I’ve developed experience in both proactive and reactive PR, as well as creating social media content for clients.

I worked alongside Bristol Old Vic’s Heritage Department, gathering archival material related to their ongoing production of ‘Arabian Nights’. The research was collected and re-formulated into an Information Pack for participants of the ‘Rep & Erasure’ project, allowing them to creatively interpret how Eastern culture has been depicted on the Western stage. I worked with Bristol’s local community to create an honest discourse surrounding previous problematic representation practice in Western theatre, and what new narratives can do to address this.

I assisted in the process of diversifying SEND Advocacy’s online training into the SEND Advocacy Academy, expanding the brand’s outreach and increasing engagement within SEND Advocacy’s online community. This entailed many responsibilities, including the compilation of blog posts, infographics and presentations. This helped me create and execute a social media strategy, sustaining a connection with SEND Advocacy’s audience.

As a Product Quality backup I specialise in maintaining brand perception and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction with IKEA products. My job entails the creation of detailed and concise reports, leading to proficiency in Microsoft Office software, data collation and organisation.

Working as a customer service assistant taught me invaluable patience, and gave me the confidence to negotiate with customers in a resolute and effective manner. I learnt tension diffusion and problem resolution, improving my efficiency in communication.

My time as a sales associate has greatly helped me with social confidence, and my overall enthusiasm when working with others to help meet their needs. My job entailed handling many retail aspects such as pricing, stock discrepancies and customer aid, leaving me with fundamental knowledge for future career prospects.

My previous hospitality training enabled me to work with customers efficiently and with accuracy. It demonstrated how to adapt in high-paced environments, and I feel it gave me priceless skills transferable into any aspect of life.
