I founded Crystal Clear Communications as a full-service public relations firm offering clients a broad range of capabilities. I've worked with clients on four continents to shape messages consistent with corporate strategy, garner positive media attention and provide clear communications in a variety of venues. Crystal Clear Communications has particular expertise in financial services, futures, options, equities and OTC markets.Current clients include leading firms in the clearing, brokerage and trading space - including R.J. O'Brien & Associates (client since 2009), London-based Marex (subsidiary has been a client since 2005) and industry trade organization FIA, as well as multi-award winning FinTech and RegTech providers Eventus, Trading Technologies, CQG and CloudMargin. The firm also represents other organizations in the financial markets ecosystem on an as-needed basis. Represented global markets operator Intercontinental Exchange from 2005 through 2009, including through its IPO and multiple acquisitions. Have also represented start-up retail futures exchange FairX (acquired by Coinbase); DriveWealth, a global digital trading technology company offering digital brokerage and access to U.S. securities markets; Duco, London-based technology provider of hosted reconciliation services; RTS Realtime Systems, a global trading solutions provider acquired by Bloomberg; Environmental Financial Products, founded by Dr. Richard Sandor; Holly Duran Real Estate Partners; and India-based Jaypee International and United Stock Exchange, among others. Projects have included assignments for global derivatives exchange Eurex and commodity trading advisor Clarke Capital Management, Inc., among many others.

Served as senior corporate relations and corporate communications officer and chief spokesperson, responsible for all communications, as well as the Exchange’s civic, charitable, special events and international relations activities. Ran a 15-person department with a multi-million dollar budget, fielding more than 2,100 media inquiries and issuing more than 200 news releases per year. Served on the Board of Directors of the CME Foundation. Worked closely with the Chairman, senior management and securities counsel on the highly successful 2002 IPO that established CME as the nation’s first publicly traded financial exchange. Created a financial communications capability within the department and provided counsel on earnings calls with analysts and media.

Founded the Corporate Communications Department for what was then the 10th largest full-service securities brokerage firm with 4,000 employees and 160 branch offices nationwide. Structured the department to act as a service organization, providing public relations services to the firm's corporate finance, public finance, research and institutional sales departments, as well as the investment brokerage offices across the country. Earned Series 7 and Series 63 brokerage licenses.

Member of senior campaign staff in charge of all communications matters. Served as campaign spokesperson and primary liaison to media in highly targeted race drawing international attention. The campaign culminated in Sen. Simon's re-election by nearly 1 million votes.

Provided a wide range of public relations services to a diverse set of clients at Jasculca/Terman & Associates, Inc., a public relations and public affairs firm based in Chicago. Supervised accounts including Fidelity Investments, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Quartet Manufacturing Company, the Israeli Consulate General and Parents Too Soon, the state’s teen pregnancy prevention program.
